SAHU bamboo salt is made using the Korean method of making bamboo salt. We choose freshly cut, fragrant bamboo to hold finely ground sea salt and cover it with clay and then put it in the kiln overnight. Making bamboo salt brings a lot of emotions because there are stages that make me happy, such as opening the kiln and waiting to see what the inside of the salt tubes look like. Below are the steps to make SAHU bamboo salt.
1. Sea salt is processed through the following steps: washing, drying, filtering impurities, selecting by hand, and grinding finely.
2. Chop and saw fresh bamboo tubes
3. Put sea salt into bamboo tube
4. Cover the end of the bamboo tube with clay
5. Put the bamboo tube in the oven and bake it overnight (12-16 hours).
6. Take out the bamboo salt tubes after baking.
7. Remove ash, charcoal and clay from the salt pipe
8. Crush into small pieces or smash into small grains (for premium bamboo salt)
9. Grind finely
10. Packaging
